Engr. Ibrahim Bello was born in Kaduna and attended K.N.L.G Lagos Street Primary School, Kaduna. On completion of his primary education in 1990, he proceeded to Sardauna Memorial College, Kaduna for his secondary education where he completed it in 1996. Engr. Ibrahim Bello proceeded to the Prestigious Kaduna Polytechnic for a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 where he finished top of his class in 2001. He got a direct entry admission to Bayero University, Kano in 2003 to study a Bachelors of Engineering (B.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering and graduated with 2nd Class Upper honours in 2008. His quest for qualitative post graduate education took him to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria to study for a Master of Science Degree (M.Sc) in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Studies Engineering Option where he graduated in 2021. Engr. Ibrahim Bello is currently running a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.

Engr. Ibrahim Bello is presently the Managing Consultant of Chieftain Consultants Ltd, a multidisciplinary engineering and management consultancy firm and the Managing Director of Ivoria Nigeria Ltd, an engineering contracting & construction firm. Engr. Ibrahim Bello started his career with Gams & Abell Ltd, an engineering company with interest in the Built Environment, Power and Oil & Gas raising through the ranks to the position of Head of Mechanical Engineering Department. He is currently a senior consultant with the firm. He is a consultant with numerous engineering firms across the country.

Engr. Ibrahim Bello is registered with COREN to practice engineering in Nigeria. He is a corporate member of The Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), a Fellow of Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FNIMechE), corporate member of Nigerian Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (MNIEEE), Automotive Engineers Institute (MAutoEI), International Association of Engineers (MIAENG), Solar Energy Society of Nigeria (MSESN), Sustainable Energy Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MSEPAN), and Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM).

Engr. Ibrahim Bello served as the Vice National Chairman of Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE) in 2021, 2022 and 2023 respectively. He was a member of the Technical Committee in 2020 and Chairman of the committee in 2021 and 2022. He is presently the Chairman of Membership/Admissions Committee. He is a former Chairman of NIMechE Kaduna Chapter. Before his election as Chairman, He served the Chapter in various capacities: Vice Chairman, Technical Secretary, Assistant General Secretary and Public Relations Officer. He was Chairman of many Committees of the Chapter. Engr. Ibrahim Bello was the Ex – Officio of NSE Kaduna Branch in 2023. He was General Secretary of NSE Kaduna Branch from 2021 to 2022. He was Technical Secretary, Assistant Technical Secretary of the NSE Kaduna Branch from 2017 to 2018 and 2019 to 2020.

Engr. Ibrahim Bello is happily married and blessed with lovely children.
